Tabletop logs or live tree wood logs is a round – big log, with a large diameter (usually from 80cm or more, most of it is over 1m), its length is usually around 2m-5m or more. For this type of material, it requires not so much retouch on the logs to make final products as the finished one would be in the rustic style: as natural as possible. On sawmill, people will sawn the big logs to thinner pieces, dry them then cover up with veccni or protective chemical to protect them.
With the current demand for high-class furniture from imported wood, the Table Tops Logs product line is being increasingly popular and widely used. Normally, hard wood species such as Walnut, Sycamore, Saman… are potentially have these big logs.
